After my meeting in Osaka on Friday, we caught the bullet train from Osaka to my sweet home, 40mins away from Tokyo Station.
Shinsaibashi is easy to navigate, a little like Melbourne, where the main department stores are in the intersection of the CBD, with smaller shops in the laneways.
Before we set off separately for the afternoon, we had tea and cakes at the lobby lounge of Hotel Nikko
We’ll definitely return to Hotel Nikko Osaka if we’re ever back here in Osaka. Service is impeccable, and the hotel sits right in the middle of the shopping strip in Shinsaibashi.
Here we are again, continuing the journey from Australia to Osaka on flight JQ19.

We were 5 hours ahead of the usual check-in time, but we secured a room after an hour of waiting anyway.
